Stop the F-35 Community Meeting
When: Wednesday, October 10th @ 7:00 p.m.
Where: Chamberlain School Cafeteria, 262 White St., So. Burlington
… the final basing decision may be soon…Urgent action needed now!

Agenda

Join the Stop the F-35 Coalition's legal action
Our lead attorney James Dumont will be present to answer questions
Why stop the basing?
There is clear evidence of serious damage to health, education, children, housing, and neighborhoods. According to the Air Force, the F-35 is 4 times as loud as the F-16, and large areas of towns near the airport will be rendered “unsuitable for residential use.”
Political Action
There is still time for Vermont's Congressional Delegation to stop the basing! Senators Sanders and Leahy have refused to even meet with local residents concerned about the basing—they remain ill-informed and continue to uncritically back the F-35 bomber.
What are the economic facts?
The F-35 bomber, far from being beneficial for jobs and our economic future, promises great harm and actually no demonstrated benefit. A military-dependent economy—with first-strike bombers like the F-35 designed to carry nuclear weapons—is not a viable future for Vermont or the country.

If you are worried about the potential F-35 bomber basing at the Burlington Airport—and want to learn more or want to take action—please join the Stop the F-35 Coalition at this community meeting.
